Texas Rural Properties' mission is to provide country homes that blend with their natural surroundings. The homes are designed to be comfortable for use as primary residences, but easily maintained as weekend homes. Screened porches, large rooms, abundant windows are the general theme. A variety of designs range from simple cabin style, multiple bedroom/bathroom cottages, to gargage apartments.
The home sites are carefully selected to be secluded, secure and accessible to Houston, San Antonio and Austin. Home sites are currently available with and without homes. Some examples of what Texas Rural Properties has provided can be further explored by clicking on pictures below.
The Pin Oak Branch residence (top row) has a total of three bedrooms, three baths, separate one car garage/apartment located on 72 acres. Pin Oak Branch Creek flows through the property. This creek, with St Augustine grass banks and white sand bottom, flows clear water year round.
The Cabin at the Sandies (bottom left) is a Texas style country cabin located on 22 acres of Oaks, Dogwood and Cedar trees.
There is abundant wildlife with a beautiful sandy creek along the back of the property.
Available is a 76 acre tract of diverse property (bottom right) that ranges from slightly rolling open pasture to multicolored ravines with 100 foot elevation changes. These heavily wooded ravines form the tributaries of Pin Oak Branch Creek mentioned above. Wildlife is abundant due to the natural protective environment of the steep elevation changes, spring fed creeks and dense trees and yaupon thickets.
